Sudanese Organization for Orphans Care (SOOC) is a non for profit charity organization registered in Sudan Humanitarian Commission under the registration number 2170.The main theme of SOOC is to promote awareness among citizens to sponsor and care for orphans. SOOC plays the role of directly coordinating and communicating the sponsor with the orphan. SOOC also carries out seasonal activities in favor of orphans and their families

- How It works:

SOOC relies totally on volunteers who use their own cars for movement and their own resources to run the administrative activities.
SOOC collects data on orphans in all parts of the country and data about potential sponsors. The data is then classified and organized in an “Information Pool” to enable our volunteer easily coordinate between orphans families and their potential sponsors.
An important element with regard to data is observance of confidentiality for both the orphans and their sponsors. SOOC always does its best to keep this data highly confidential and safeguard it.
In most cases the sponsor is directly linked to the orphan child in order to follow the child’s education and other issues and we get feedback from the sponsor about any issues in this regard. The minimum sponsorship payment is $ 50, however, most sponsors pay more than this amount in the form of gifts and other needs.
